Aptos, a manufacturer of unique medical yarns used in plastic surgery, plans to increase the number of export markets to 90 by 2022. At present, the company operates 3 enterprises in Georgia, Germany and Russia. The products of the last two enterprises are already represented in 83 countries.
General director of the company, Giorgi Sulamanidze, told BMG that the company has already received the necessary certificate for importing the products to the United States and now they are waiting for the certification for importing the product to Brazil and China.
Aptos medical fibers are currently sold in Europe, Arabia, the CIS and Asia, although this year the company plans to export additional products to the Philippines, Japan, Korea and several other countries.
Eyebrow correction with Aptos threads costs over 2 000 Euros, while the cost of one pack of Aptos yarn ranges within 200-300 Euros.
