USAID Georgia launched a new three-year partnership with Gazelle Finance that will provide technical assistance to more than 30 small and medium-sized businesses in various fields - US Embassy in Tbilisi writes in a statement.
"We’re supporting Georgia to undertake a strong recovery from the economic impacts of COVID-19 and to create conditions for long-term, innovation-driven growth. Our assistance includes developing new initiatives to help Georgia’s businesses grow and contribute to economic growth that benefits workers, households, and communities across Georgia.
Yesterday, we launched a new three-year partnership with Gazelle Finance that will provide technical assistance to more than 30 small and medium-sized businesses in various fields. The partnership will help these businesses grow, attract private sector investment, and develop innovative products and services that can drive Georgia’s smart, long-term development.
We held the launch event at MANNA, a tea beverage producer in Saguramo and one of the first beneficiaries of the activity. With funding from USAID, MANNA will receive technical assistance to increase its exports, strengthen its sales and marketing, and diversify its revenue streams," - reads the statement.
