Georgian ambassador to Uzbekistan, Zurab Abdushelishvili, on Monday, echoed Uzbek PM’s visit to Georgia, saying “such a high-level visit has not been made in Georgia in the last 20-25 years.”
The ambassador went on to say that the Uzbek investors were interested in the Middle Corridor, adding “they are ready for investments, be it textile production, transport and logistics hubs, which will bring the relations between our countries to a fairly high level.”
“We hope that in the future, the political, economic, humanitarian and, in general, friendly relations between these two countries will lead to economic growth,” he added.
