Vanilla Sky declares that domestic flights will be resumed in Georgia from June 15.
"Vanilla Sky will resume domestic flights from June 15 from Tbilisi to Batumi; Natakhtari-Mestia; Natakhtari-Ambrolauri direction.
You will be notified of the flight schedule soon", the company said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
BM.Ge contacted Vanilla Sky to check the news. The company said that Airport Union has not submitted to the flight schedule and information about restoration of flights is not confirmed by 100%. However, the company hopes that all procedures will be finished before June 15 and they will manage to restore flights.
In turn, the Union of Airports explains that airports are preparing to receive citizens.
"As known, Georgia will be open for domestic tourism from June 15. Therefore, we aim to make the country's domestic airports fully prepared and to be able to receive the first passengers safely and in compliance with all relevant recommendations," - said the Union of Airports.
