“Polices and regulations are the main challenge for the internet society. We discuss the policies and regulations for the e-governance model. The model should be elaborated through participation of all the stakeholders and address all the needs and requirements that exist in the internet society today,” – the Vice President of the Internet Society, Raúl Echeberría told the media representatives. Raúl Echeberría is one of the key speakers EuroDIG 2018 – the European Dialogue on Internet Governance.
As Echeberría stated, discussions held within the EuroDIG are important to the internet society around the world including the European countries. „We are presenting several panels and today we will speak about the challenges of the internet governance in general, if what happens in this regard in the world and in Europe. Internet accessibility remains a challenge in a whole world and we try to eliminate this problem,” – the IS Vice President noted.
Raúl Echeberría commented that “Internet Society, governments, populations and different private companies cooperate in order to provide the internet access to those who never has it before. Successfully implemented project in Tusheti is an excellent example of such cooperation. This is an example if how the modern technologies can be implemented in places that have never seen them before. This model can be successfully implemented in any other region of the world,” - Raúl Echeberría stated.
