Vocational education employment rate is 56%
The Ministry of Education and Sciences published a survey of vocational collage educational program graduates, on which survey the Ministry has been working for over a year. According to the survey, the rate of employment of professional educational program graduates is 56.2%. This rate was calculated on the basis of 2016 graduates’ data. The Ministry doesn’t possess more recent data. The survey shows that for vocational collage students, practical courses and employment is still a problem. Answering the question about which aspect of vocational education needs improvement, 64% of students mentioned employment, 40% - practical courses and 39% - quality of education. under the survey, out of 6 886 graduates of 2016, 3 144 were interviewed, of which 75% were men and 43% were women.
