“We are closely following what’s happening in Georgia with some worry, you can be assured,” said NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte ahead of the meeting of NATO Defence Ministers in Brussels.
“I have already commented before on the outcome of the Georgian elections, and also on our wish, of course, for Georgia to stay on a path towards NATO, towards the European Union, in line with our values of democracy and the Rule of Law and human rights. But I think I should refrain from doing that every time again, because I did already,” Mark Rutte stated.
