"We are observing on a daily basis what challenges accompany the process of introducing a Green Passport. As a result of the business feedback, it became clear that foreign tourists, especially visitors from non-European countries cannot register on our platform in time and they have difficulty visiting tourist facilities," - said the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava.
She notes, that this challenge is already overcome. According to the decision of the Coordinating Council, a foreign citizen will be able to visit any facility based on the QR code, issued by their own country or official agency document certifying a valid negative PSR test.
From December 1, 2021, the use of Green Passport is needed in the following institutions: food outlets; indoor and outdoor restaurants, cafes and bars; entertainment centers; Cinemas, theaters, opera houses and museums; concert halls; casinos and gambling business facilities; SPA centers; Gyms; hotels; ropeways to mountain resorts.
