Players in the logistics market talk about the staff shortage in the sector. According to the General Director of Logistics Solutions, there is an acute shortage of drivers and other professionals in the field.
As Irakli Tsankashvili declares, companies have the opportunity to develop, however, due to insufficient personnel resources, this is not possible. He also talks about the additional problems related to the infrastructure which hampers handling the cargo flow coming to the country quickly.
"We have a big problem with finding staff working in the office, including logistics managers. We have vacancies, but we cannot fill them. I often come across posts on social media that the employer should pay a decent salary and they would have staff. This is not true. I am ready to pay a high salary to the logistics managers, but there is a shortage of qualified staff", says Irakli Tsankashvili, General Director of Logistics Solutions.
The Kairos Logistics Company also talks about the same problem, whose director claims that the whole sector is facing a challenge.
