The financial report published by commercial banks reads, that 3 out of 15 banks operating in the country failed to make a profit during the 9 months of 2023. Among them is "Paysera Bank Georgia", which loss amounted to GEL 920 thousand. The general director of the bank, Dimitri Kumsishvili, spoke about this issue to the media and noted that the bank will turn a profit in 2024.
"You know that we started our business only recently, we have been serving customers for only two months and, of course, as a newly started organization, in the transition period, we will have much more expenses than income. However, we are sure that we will end 2024 with a profit", says Dimitri Kumsishvili.
"Paysera Bank" is a fully digital bank that allows its customers to open European accounts.
