Behind every successful project, initiated work, good ideas for the city are people - names and surnames known or unknown to the public, with specific functions, roles and responsibilities - the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, announced this at today's meeting of the municipal government and thanked the employees for their work.
According to him, most of them are not known to the public, but the result of their work is visible.
"Our municipality stands on the shoulders of these people - all successful projects, rehabilitated streets, renovated buildings and arranged squares are the result of their honesty, great work, great love for the city. The result of this work may not be 100 percent satisfactory for you, but do not doubt that these people put their heart and soul into their work.
We believe in the idea of a better Tbilisi, we believe in tomorrow and that is the duty of each of us to take care of this city. I would like to thank all my employees, starting with the caretakers and ending with the vice-mayor, for this year's results and in general, for their tireless work for the benefit of Tbilisi," said Kakha Kaladze.
The mayor of Tbilisi thanked the representatives of the city council, the majority of the parliament and the media for their cooperation.
"I would like to thank the Tbilisi City Council and the majority of the Parliament of Georgia, with whose support we will be able to implement the necessary initiatives for the city. Thank you to the media representatives who brought all the news of the capital to the public. I am sure that we will be able to do even more in the future, which is based on the trust and support of the people of Tbilisi.
