The Ministry of Health fully ensures the provision of medical services in an emergency mode, we visit all patients and meet the medical needs of our population, - said Amiran Gogitidze, Head of the Medical Provision Department of the Center for Coordination of Emergency Situations and Urgent Assistance.
According to him, "ambulance brigades work 24 hours a day so that no citizen is left without medical services."
"Emergency medical crews have been added to the Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri and Ozurgeti municipalities. Off-road ambulances have been mobilized. Off-road resuscitation vehicles have also been mobilized in the Ozurgeti municipality in order to transport patients in critical condition to institutions with appropriate medical services. We have brought in teams of paramedics who work in different locations and provide first aid and medicines to the population,” said Amiran Gogitidze.
According to him, the Ministry of Health has mobilized pharmaceutical companies to ensure uninterrupted supply of medicines to the population.
“Family and village doctors have been mobilized in the region to provide primary medical care to the rural population. They visit each resident of the rural area as much as possible and provide telephone consultations.
