"Bolnisio Resort" is a glamping hotel located in Bolnisi, which has been hosting guests since August of this year, and as its director Salome Shonia notes in a conversation with BM.GE, despite the high interest, the number of guests has decreased as the temperature drops.
"The hotel combines three comfortable glamping cottages - each of them has a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and can accommodate a total of 12 guests. Currently, 10 locals are employed in the operation of the hotel. Our goal is to offer the guests the best possible service, but there are also challenges in this process - there is no natural gas, so we have to use electric heaters, which is also very expensive. Another problem is that power outage is also very common and the guest remains frozen. Of course, is a great inconvenience for us," said Salome Shonia.
According to the Director of "Bolnisio Resort", they are working on future plans and have already started the construction of a separate space for corporate events.
"We have started construction of a wooden house, which will be intended for corporate events. We do not know the exact date of completion, but we will probably be able to receive guests in 2 years and employ 5-6 locals in this space. At this stage, we are working on offering Kvemo Kartli tours for guests," Salome Shonia explains.
As for the prices, a double room with breakfast costs GEL 165 per night at Bolnisio Resort.
