Georgia is negotiating with France, Greece, Israel on seasonal employment - announces Health Minister candidate Ekaterine Tikaradze.
"As for circular migration, France, Greece, Israel are the following countries, that are interested in this program. We hold negotiations with Cyprus as well. We had feedback from a number of European countries after Germany. This project is one of the pilot projects for Germany, because they have stopped it in the 70s. Since then, Georgia is the first country with which the program is renewed. If the citizens of Georgia cope with their duties in Germany, I sure the number of interested countries will increase," - said Ekaterine Tikaradze.
According to the statistics of LEPL State Employment Promotion Agency, 53,274 people have so far registered at the ‘Temporary Employment Migrant Registration Portal,’ of which 35,121 filled in the application form ‘Temporary Employment in Germany.’ The program starts in April 2021.
