Natural juice producer company Campa had to increase its product price by 30% due to high taxes, - according to Giorgi Lomtadze, the company's export manager.

According to him, the price of imported raw materials has increased along with the transportation costs.

"In the production process, we have to import cardboard, glass bottles, stickers and other materials, and during the last year, the company that supplied us with these materials increased the price of products by 10% y-o-y, which affected the juice price. In addition, the cost of transporting cargo to Europe and other countries has increased significantly, for example, the cost of sending one container to America is USD 10,000, and this also significantly increases the price of the product, which becomes the main obstacle in the exporting process.

Almost all countries have local manufactueres of juices, therefore locally produced juices are much cheaper compared to the imported ones. For example, we had to stop exporting to Qatar because we could not our expensive products, the price was much higher than what we had agreed on before, so we decided to stop cooperation," said Giorgi Lomtadze.

He also notes that despite the many export markets, in case of price stability, they would manage to enter the markets of other countries.

Campa juices entered the market of the Philippines, the USA, Canada and Japan, and the total volume of products was USD 0.5 million.
