“We have lost the sense of stability in the last 2 months, this is the most critical issue that worries business,” - Sandro Ratishvili, president of the Taxpayers’ Union and founder of the company “Madame De”, said in an interview with the program “Business Course” while talking about economic risks and threats.
According to him, the first months of 2024 were stable for business, however, the situation has changed radically in the last 2 months, which has caused business to lose the sense of stability. According to him, it is difficult to talk about expectations, however, in his assessment, it is necessary for political forces to be able to de-escalate the processes in order for the country and business to be able to survive.
“It is as if we fell asleep [in a stable 2024], woke up and found ourselves in a radically different situation, which excludes any stability, which is the main thing for business. Current events have completely jeopardized our expectations for tomorrow and the very sense of stability that all of us, large, medium, and small businessmen, strive for. As it stands, we have lost that sense of stability in the last 2 months of 2024, which is the biggest and most critical issue facing business",- Sandro Ratishvili said.
