Handmade flower brand Floralista, founded by two students just five months ago, has quickly attracted attention for its unique, long-lasting floral creations. Speaking to BM.GE, co-founder Tamar Janashvili noted that the brand’s sales are currently mainly during holidays, and most of its customers are individual buyers.
Floralista was started entirely with the founders’ own resources, without external investment. However, Janashvili said the team plans to expand production and grow the brand’s recognition both in Georgia and internationally in the future.
“The idea came to me and my friend because flowers received as gifts often wither,” Janashvili explained. “We wanted to create handmade, durable flowers that last a long time and retain their emotional meaning. Prices start from 10 GEL and vary depending on the complexity and design details.”
The brand offers a variety of handmade flowers, with designs inspired by cartoons or characters. Each piece is carefully crafted by hand, with every detail, from leaves to petals, created using special wire and textures, reflecting the founders’ dedication to quality and originality.
