The yacht dealer company Ramses Yachts has been operating in Georgia since 2014. The company started selling yachts and boats in 2019 and sold a total of 19 sailing objects since then. It should be noted that this number of yachts was sold only to Georgian citizens.
As the director of Ramses Yachts, Giorgi Chikvaidze explains to BMGtv, every next sold yacht was 5-6 meters larger than the previous model.
"The first yacht, we sold was 9 meters long. Just a few days ago, we signed a contract for the sale of the 36-meter Azimut Grande model under the leadership of the Georgian office. In our business, this is like the biggest celebration. This is a paradox, because even successful countries in this industry rarely have such a chance" , - notes Chikvaidze.
As Chikvaidze notes, the cheapest of the sold yachts was USD 120,000, and the most expensive one was valued at 2 million EUR.
In 2017, Ramses Yachts brought the Italian yacht manufacturing company Azimut Yachts to the country and was its exclusive representative in Georgia, which did not allow the company to cooperate with other brands. However, certain changes took place at Azimut Benetti Group, which have opened a new window of opportunity for Ramses Yachts and now the company cooperates with other world leading brands.
