Company Ephemera appeared on the Georgian market in 2021 and offers alcoholic drinks, fruit vodka and chacha. The founder of the company, Gobron Khutsishvili, notes that the brand is distinguished by its signature products: "We put pollinated pear, feijoa and lemon pods in the bottle, grow them, and then, when the fruit vegetation is finished, we pour vodka from the same fruits into it," he explains.
According to the founder, research on how to grow fruit in a bottle took 16 months. "The so-called captured fruits was never sold in Georgia, therefore, searching for information and observation in this regard took a lot of time," said Khutsishvili.
The company has produced a total of 2,000 bottles so far, but Ephemera plans to increase the number four folds.
Regarding export, according to Gordon Khutsishvili, they have offers from Israel, however, depending on the volume of production, the company will not be able to export at this stage.
"Ephemera" products can be purchased online, as well as in "Goodwill", tourist wine shops and several bar-restaurants. The average price of products is GEL 105. The company employs 5 people permanently, and up to 15 people during the season.
