"Vaccination of children over the age of 12 will be resolved at the meeting of Immunization Council this week," Amiran Gamkrelidze, director of the National Center for Disease Control, said at a press conference after the interagency council meeting.
"This week, the meeting of the Immunization Council will take place ... The scientific council has reached a consensus on the so-called booster doses and vaccinations of children over the age of 12. I think that will be the news for this week," Amiran Gamkrelidze said.
Now in Georgia immunization is allowed for citizens over 16 years of age.
