Vintage clothing boutique "Vintylator" has reduced prices by 20% in response to the current events in the country. This was announced by the co-founder of the boutique, Shoko Chachua.

According to her, sales have decreased by up to 30%. Their main customers are foreigners who are no longer in the country. As for Georgian customers, they are standing on protest rallies.

"We are slowly moving to green production, which involves product modification. Accordingly, the cost of the product is medium to high. If the productivity is not high, the price will also be high. However, the productivity cannot be high, because the consumers of our products are foreigners. However, there are no tourists in the country. Or if there are, they are mainly walking. They have less purchasing power.

As for Georgian consumers, they are standing on protest rallies. Our income decreased by up to 30%, so we had to adjust prices. Therefore, we made the product cheaper, which gives us less income. We reduced prices by about 20% to be more attractive to the consumers," Chachua said.

According to her, the future of the vintage direction was slowly developing, in which "Vintylator" played one of the leading roles, adding that if the current events in the country continue like this, the sector will not develop in any way.
