"IQVE Winery", located in Saguramo, will make focus on the export this year. Givi Adeishvili, the founder of the winery declares, that the winery produced a small amount of wine until 2021.

At this stage, the winery produces 6 types of wine, including Kisi, Khikhvi, Budeshuri, Kakhuri green, Black Tavkveri and Chinebuli. At this stage, only 3 types of wines are sold, and in the next two months, 3 more types of wines will be added for sale.

As the founder of the winery notes, they have just started working on the export and their main focus will be on the European and US markets.

"Initially, we started producing 2 types of Qvevari wine, Kisi and Khikhvi, and bottled about 3000 bottles. "Iqve Winery" has received so much approval from the public that for a year and a half, we are already represented in 70 facilities. We sell our products in large wine boutiques, hotels and cafe-bars. 70% of the produced wine is sold in Tbilisi, and the rest is sold in the regions (Batumi, Kutaisi, Stepantsminda)", says Adeishvili.

Iqve Winery was built in 2021 in Saguramo, where they began to produce Qvevari wine. The company plans to increase production to 20,000 bottles this year. Iqve Winery has already built the second wine cellar with an investment of up to GEL 800,000. Generally, 7 people are employed in winemaking, although the workforce is increased to 15 people seasonally.
