Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze says that the mistake made in Adjara during the summer will not be repeated and mountain resorts remain closed.
Health Ministry cited the example of an Austrian mountain resort and said:
"As you know, opening of Tyrol (an Austrian resort) despite the taking of several risks was quite unsuccessful. We will not take this risk again, we will not repeat the mistake we have made in Adjara," - said the Minister.
The second wave of coronavirus started in Georgia after the summer season. Part of the epidemiologists admits that the government has to take a decision on tightening the restrictions sooner, which would not worsen the situation.
