The Minister of Health Ekaterine Tikaradze explains, that a contract is being signed with the manufacturer of Remdesivir and after that, the drug will arrive in Georgia in two weeks.
"There were some instructions from WHO on how to follow Remdesivir protocol and we were discussing it. As of today, we will sign a contract with the manufacturer and after that, the drug will be in the country in 2 weeks. We are working on a new treatment protocol on how to use Remdesivir and it will be available for our citizens as well," Ekaterine Tikaradze said.
According to the information published on the state procurement website, the Center for Infectious Diseases AIDS and Clinical Immunology is buying the drug "Remdesivir" for $ 104,000.
