China plans to open a Chinese car market in Georgia. As Zhou Qian, the Ambassador of the Republic of China to Georgia, said at the press conference held today, the Chinese car fair will probably be opened in Kutaisi.
According to him, consumers can buy certain electric cars of the Chinese car manufacturer for USD 11,000. He deeply believes that such high-quality electric cars atan affordable price will be popular in any country.
"Chinese brand BYD overtook Tesla in global sales of new electric vehicles. A Chinese consumer can buy BYD's compact electric car for $11,000. Larger hybrid cars are also available for the same price. I think such a high-quality product at such a low price will be extremely popular in any country. We are ready to facilitate the entry of Chinese brands of electric cars into the Georgian market soon," the ambassador noted.
