Founder of Green School Bakur Sulakauri announced that the institution has invested nearly GEL 8 million to improve infrastructure across its four campuses in Tbilisi, in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

In an interview with bm.ge, Sulakauri emphasized that changes are not only physical but academic as well.

“We’ve developed exclusive internal resources for primary school and significantly enhanced secondary education. Students will now have more opportunities to focus intensively on subjects aligned with their future careers,” he said.

Regarding tuition fees, Sulakauri noted that while prices have remained unchanged on some campuses, there have been indirect increases. For example, at the Didi Digomi campus, swimming is no longer included in the base tuition fee to avoid formal price hikes. “We’re in the budget segment, so we must be sensitive to pricing,” he explained.

Currently, Green School serves around 5,000 students, employs up to 500 teachers, and has more than 760 staff members, with numbers growing annually. Plans to expand the number of campuses are also underway, though the next opening has been postponed. “We’ll likely need another two years to add 2–3 new branches,” Sulakauri said.
