In 2024, the budget of the Ministry of Infrastructure will be GEL 3.35 billion, which is GEL 20 million more than this year.
According to the annex of the draft budget, the central government will finance 62 different investment infrastructure projects, for which GEL 3.7 billion will be spent from the budgets of the Ministry of Infrastructure and other agencies.
Among the infrastructure projects, the largest amount - 1.2 billion GEL will be spent on the construction of the East-West Highway, which is divided into separate sub-programs. Construction of the Kusheti-Kobi highway is in second place with GEL 300 million. Most of the projects are implemented with donor funding.
