A comprehensive assessment of the management of COVID-19 has not taken place in Georgia for 10 months, or if it has done, no information has been spread about it - Giorgi Shakarishvili, a global health specialist, told Forbes Talks.
He declares that complex assessments and analysis are important in the management of such new diseases because there is no experience in its management. That is why different countries make complex assessments, which allows them to find and eliminate shortcomings in the process.
According to Giorgi Shakarishvili, such an analysis should be conducted in 3 directions:
"Assessments should be made gradually and deficiencies must be eliminated. Such a comprehensive assessment should be made in three directions: 1. Evaluating the effectiveness of current health care measures, identifying and eliminating their deficiencies; 2. Assessing the management structure, and 3. Assessing the management process”, - says the Global Health Specialist.
