Beka Bekaia, head of Nutrimax, producing company of Animal and poultry feed declares, that breaking the logistics chain leads to a significant increase of the initial cost, while this is not reflected in prices because solvency is low, which in turn leads to lower margins.
“Eventually we may have a problem with product sales,” - Bekaia noted.
According to him, there were challenges, including logistics issues and the health of the employees, but the company did not have any problems with sales.
"Nobody knows what regulation one of our suppliers, for example Russia, will receive in the future. Today we can no longer guess where we are. We think that we are out of Lockdown, everything is fine and meanwhile the disease statistics are catastrophically high. The regulations are not actually enforced. We must first tighten the administration of existing regulations. The vaccination issue is a problem. Society needs to take action to reduce anti-vaccine sentiment. Vaccination is not such a threat that COIVD-19 has consequences," Bekaia explained.
