The Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi, Irakli Khmaladze on Wednesday says that the Tbilisi Central Park project will probably not be completed for another 2-3 years.
"It is quite a large-scale project and this is the biggest park in Tbilisi. Some work has been already done. Land works of GEL 5 million, dendrological part, as well as communications were arranged. My expectation is that the project may not be completed within 2-3 years, although this term is also conditional, a rather important large new park should be built and the most important thing is that the process is continued", said Khmaladze.
The Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze, announced in 2020 that the project would start in October and be completed in 2 years.
