The Pension Agency declares that it is planned to intensify the issue of investing pension savings in large projects from the second half of this year.
According to Anna Nachkebia, the National Bank has already established the rules according to which these processes should be carried out. As of her, such assets are important for diversifying the funds of the Pension Agency.
"The conservative portfolio was given the opportunity to invest in other types of assets. Other assets include both investment funds and project financing. However, according to the law, entering into such projects will be possible only together with international financial organizations. The National Bank's regulations have already written down the rules and analytics that must be followed before investing in such a project. Before we start directly analyzing projects, we need to draw up internal procedures, how we will make a decision, what sectors we will be interested in, and only after that will we start working directly on investment projects. I assume that we will be able to do this in the second half of the year", - Anna Nachkebia said.
