A 5-star multifunctional balneological complex of Wyndham Grand will be built in Borjomi with an investment of 60 million USD. According to the Ministry of Economy, a symbolic capsule was laid in the foundation of the project today.
The body said, that development companies are implementing the Wyndham Grand Borjom project - "New City Development" and "APCO" in cooperation with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and the global leader in hotel management company Aimbridge Hospitality.
According to the business register, the company "New City Development" was founded in 2008 and its shareholders are Goderdzi Pirtskhalava and Akaki Zerekidze. The company implements development projects in Tbilisi - in Vashlijvari and Digomi, and the company also implements a project in Okrokana. The company "Apco" was founded in 2021. It belongs to the company "Finvest Georgia", which is headed by Nino Mosiashvili.
According to the Ministry of Economy, more than 300 jobs will be created during the implementation of the Wyndham Grand Borjomi project. The complex will combine a 5-star hotel, more than 400 investment residences and a balneological center. As for the recreational zone, it will include a zipline, a ski slope, a football field, hiking and cycling trails.
The first stage of the project should be completed by the end of 2027, and the complex will be fully operational in 2029.
