Georgian subsidiaries of global food delivery companies have released their 2021 financial statements. According to reports, last year "Wolt" had an income of GEL 34.5 million, while "Glovo" - GEL 33.9 million.
Competitors' revenue growth was as follows:
"Volt" - 34.46 million GEL, an increase of 19 million GEL compared to the previous year;
"Glovo" - 33.93 million GEL, an increase of 13.3 million GEL compared to the previous year.
According to the financial statements, "Wolt Georgia" made a profit of GEL 2.3 million in 2021, while "Glovo" had a loss of GEL 13.66 million instead of a profit. The main reason for the loss was the service fee paid by the company to its head office in the amount of GEL 15.56 million.
According to financial reports, "Wolt" paid GEL 25.4 million to the couriers last year, and "Glovo" - GEL 13.6 million.
As of the document, the assets of "Wolt" amount to GEL 12.6 million, while the assets of "Glovo" totlaed to GEL 15 million.
