The founder of Turebi.ge, Nika Gogoladze, told BMG that most Georgian vacationers make focus sea resorts during this summer.
"15% of the customers, who mainly use package tours - choose Turkey, 12% plan to travel to Italy, Cyprus and Greece, 10% of vacationers plan to spend this summer in Egypt, while 7% accounts for Spain. As for other destinations, 5% of tourists want to travel to Arabia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and France.
Compared to previous years, the picture has changed, last year Turkey was more active, now demand is increased on Greece as well, but Turkey is still in the lead in terms of percentage. Also, the direction of vacation in Italy has changed, if earlier Rome and other cities were chosen for educational tours, now the sea resorts are more popular, from Naples to Palermo, " Nika Gogoladze noted.
