The average number of employees in 3Q20 equaled to 645.6 thousand, which is year-on-year 7.2% less – Geostat released a report yesterday.
According to Geostat, the leading business sector by the number of employees is trade including wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
This field has a 27.5% share in the total business sector employment.
Trade is followed by manufacturing and human health and social work activities with 13% and 11.1% of shares, accordingly.
Other sectors maintaining employment in 3Q20 are construction activities (9.6%), enterprises engaged in transportation and storage (8.1%), and accommodation and food service activities (4.8%).
