The volume of wine exported from Georgia to Russia was up by 5% in 10M2021. As a result, 49,064,224 bottles of wine were exported to Russia. Russia is still the largest export market for Georgian wine.
Ukraine is in second place with 10,558,377 bottles of wine, followed by Poland with 4,984,017 bottles of wine. The fourth and fifth places are shared by China and Belarus.
According to the National Wine Agency, revenue from wine exports in the first 10 months of this year increased by 9% amounting to USD 194 million. In total, 83.8 million bottles of wine were exported to 60 countries in January-October.
