A total of 3,198 accommodation facilities operate in the country with 53,759 rooms and 128,015 beds, - according to the National Tourism Administration.
The statistics of accommodation facilities published by the administration include hotels, family hotels, other types of accommodation facilities. The official statistics of the agency represent the number of accommodation facilities by region.
Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Tbilisi and Adjara rank in the TOP-3 regions by most hotels. However, if Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti takes the first place in the number of accommodation facilities, Tbilisi is the leader in terms of the number of rooms, and Adjara is the leader in the number of beds, which means that the largest number of people can be accommodated in Adjara.

1. Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 598 accommodation facilities, 3,841 rooms, 9,626 beds;
2. Tbilisi - 544 accommodation facilities, 14,611 rooms, 32,192 beds;
3. Adjara - 490 accommodation facilities, 14,319 rooms, 33,851 beds;
4. Samtskhe - Javakheti - 386 accommodation facilities, 7 416 rooms, 18 672 beds;
5. Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 315 accommodation facilities, 3 168 rooms, 7 729 beds;
6. Kakheti - 306 accommodation facilities, 3,245 rooms, 7,872 beds;
7. Imereti - 272 accommodation facilities, 3,356 rooms, 8,122 beds;
8. Guria - 115 accommodation facilities, 2 169 rooms, 5 534 beds;
9. Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 81 accommodation facilities, 567 rooms, 1,613 beds;
10. Shida Kartli - 63 accommodation facilities, 587 rooms, 1,608 beds;
11. Kvemo Kartli - 28 accommodation facilities, 480 rooms, 1 196 beds.
