Interest in the company "Solidus" and its owner, Giorgi Arveladze, emerged after it became known that this company supplied fuel to occupied Abkhazia.
BM.GE received information regarding the fuel delivery directly from the company's owner yesterday; however, questions regarding the fuel supply to the occupied region still remain. Before all questions are answered, here is a background on Giorgi Arveladze, whose company brought fuel into Abkhazia.
It is worth noting that "Georgian Dream" MP Rati Ionatamishvili initially stated that business had brought 3,000 tons of fuel into the occupied region—a claim that Giorgi Arveladze himself denied."3,000 tons requires a ship. 3,000 tons does not exist here in Georgia right now for anyone to have as free reserve to hand over," he noted.
LLC "Solidus" supplied 300 tons of fuel to occupied Abkhazia, primarily for gas stations in Gali—the company's owner, Giorgi Arveladze, told BM.GE.
"This opportunity arose for the first time. Over the last 30 years, this type of transaction was carried out for the first time, and it is the achievement of myself and my Abkhazian friends," stated the owner.
In his conversation with BM.GE, Giorgi Arveladze noted that the Enguri Bridge is the sole connecting route for business activities, and that he has been engaged in this business for 6–7 years, supplying various products to occupied Abkhazia.

Giorgi Arveladze, the founder and 100% owner of "Solidus," also holds shares in companies operating across various sectors. These include:
Ubique — a real estate development company based in Tbilisi, which is currently building "Krtsanisi Residence," a gated residential complex in the historical part of Tbilisi. Giorgi Arveladze owns a 50% stake in the company.
