Lasha Martiashvili, head of the construction company "L2 Development" says demand for real estate in Rustavi is up due to the significant price increase in Tbilisi. Speaking to BMG, Martiashvili said that there is competition in Rustavi, but it is such a small city that the demand for quality projects is still high.
"We have been in the construction market in Rustavi for four years, at this stage, the total number of implemented projects is 25, we have two ongoing projects and we are also waiting for the permits for three new projects.
Due to the increased price in Tbilisi, the demand for real estate in Rustavi has also increased. Rustavi is close to Tbilisi and the land is cheaper. In the last 1.5-year period, we increased the prices for green frames from USD 400 to USD 550," said Martiashvili.
