Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia believes that, among other issues, one of the main reasons for the spread of the coronavirus is the low rate of carrying the face mask.
"The epidemiological situation is extremely worrying. We started researching. Before that the activity was high and therefore the mobility is high, however, I think the main reason is the (low) rate of wearing a face mask.
If we do not use face masks, the risk of spreading the virus increases. Vaccination is the right solution to the problem and adherence to the rules of social distancing. Mask use is 43% today," Tamar Gabunia said.
