Will The [Russian] Law Strengthen the Country's Investment Climate? - Vice PM's Answer

ლევან დავითაშვილი

"Maybe the law "on Transparency of Foreign Influence" has neither strengthened nor weakened the investment climate in the country", Economy Minister Levan Davitashvili said in response to the BM.GE's question at the press conference held after the government meeting.

In addition, to the question of what will happen if it turns out that the law, on the contrary, worsened the investment environment, Davitashvili answers: "We are responsible for our decisions."

"Georgia's investment climate is quite attractive. This law may neither strengthen nor weaken [the investment climate]. This law is about something else. I think it has nothing in common with investments. Everything will appear in time. Let's not get ahead of events. Let's wait for the results and then talk," said Davitashvili.
