According to the decision of the Interagency Coordination Council, "Green Passport" has been launched in Georgia from December 1.
A citizen will be granted green status if he/she meets one of the following criteria: is fully vaccinated; was recovered from Covid-19 and 14 days have passed since the virus was confirmed; has conducted a 72-hour PCR validity test; has conducted a 24-hour validity antigen test.
There are citizens, who have been recovered from COVID-19, but they have not conducted PCR test.
Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia declares that those citizens will have to take COIVD-19 jabs and it is the solution.
"A person will not receive green status based on antibodies or any other analysis. If there is no laboratory-confirmed case with us, or the person has not communicated with the medical sector, she/he will not have the status," Gabunia said in an interview with Rustavi 2.
