Winemaking LisiWine To Open Agro-Tourism Facility In 2024 With Investment Of GEL 1 MLNWinery LisiWine has been operating on the market for 5 years and produces 7 types of Qvevri wines. The winery is located near Lisi Lake, while the vineyards are grown in Kakheti.
As the co-founder of the winery, Marika Janelidze told BMG, construction of the agro-tourist facility has lasted for 4 years and it is located in the territory of the winery. For the complete arrangement of the agro-tourist facility, the winery invested GEL 1 million.
According to her, the facility will offer Georgian, authentic flavors, tasting spaces and Georgian Kvevari wines to the customers. According to her, there is already interest in the still unopened facility, and tourists from Portugal are expected in February next year.
"We have planted our own 50-year-old vineyards in Kakheti and we produce Imeruli and Kakhuri wine varieties," Janelidze says.
As the co-founder of the family business, Ilia Meskhishvili explains to BMG, the agro-tourism facility will unite an old traditional wooden house from Imereti, a kitchen in line with HACCP standards and wine-tasting spaces.
"At this stage, unfortunately, we cannot leave the guests in place, but we plan to expand and we will definitely have this service," said Meshkhishvili.
