The Asian fast-food restaurant Wok-Shia is planning to open a second branch next year. The founder of the restaurant, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, said this in an interview with BM.GE.
The first restaurant of the company has been successfully operating in Saburtalo district for more than two years and has an online delivery service. The second new restaurant is planned to open in Nadzaladevi district.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli says that the demand for Asian dishes is very high, despite the fact that many of their competing restaurants have opened in the city.
“I plan to open a second, larger branch, which was supposed to open this year but was postponed to the first half of 2025. It will be located in Tsotne Dadiani Street 34. Its total investment value amounts to 50,000 GEL, and at maximum capacity, we will be able to feed 300-500 people per day.
The new restaurant, like the first one, does not include a seating area and offers its customers takeaway services," Chkhenkeli said.
As for employees, he said that initially, he plans to hire a few people for the second branch, although additional staff is planned if demand increases.
