Elene Zamtaradze, co-founder of "Black Tomato", operating in Kutaisi, notes that positive forecasts will be maintained until November this year.

"Black Tomato" was established in Kutaisi for the first time in 2019, however, it stopped operating during the pandemic and began to work on expansion - from 2023, "Black Tomato" moved to a new location in Safichkhia district.

"In 2023, we operated only 5 rooms and could accommodate 26 guests, but this year we receive 37 guests in 9 rooms. We can say that the workload has increased, but we cannot compare it with last year, because our facility was not fully opened," says Elene Zamtaradze.

The co-founder of "Black Tomatoes" also notes that the hospitality facility keeps busy throughout the year. "Black Tomato's" workload has not been less than 60%, even in the winter months.

"During the protests against the Russian law in the country, we had cancellations, many guests wrote to us and asked us how stable the environment was in Georgia. However, since our location is far from Tbilisi, this did not have a big impact either: we had cancellations, although these reservations were replaced very quickly", - Zamtaradze.

Speaking about the expectations of the tourist season, Elene Zamtaradze notes that along with the summer months, advance bookings have already been received and it is expected that November will be considered as the end of the active season.

"Black Tomato" includes 7 private rooms and 2 shared dormitories. The cost of accommodation in a hostel has not changed since last year, and in the case of a private room, it costs from GEL 120 to GEL 240, while in dormitories the price of one bed per night ranges within GEL 40-50.
