During an official visit to the United States, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan met with Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to discuss bilateral cooperation in information technology and urban management.
The meeting focused on Los Angeles’ experience in applying information technologies across various sectors of city infrastructure. Avinyan expressed confidence that this expertise would benefit Yerevan, which is advancing its own digital transformation efforts. In response, Karen Bass affirmed Los Angeles’ readiness to share its "smart" solutions to support reforms in the Armenian capital.
Following the meeting, the mayors signed a Memorandum of Understanding, outlining collaboration on developing "smart" solutions and delivering high-quality services through modern technologies.
