Zakaria Kutsnashvili, a former member of the parliamentary majority who had to leave the legislature after the events of "Gavrilov's Night", will fight for membership of the Georgian National Communications Commission.
According to the information released by the government administration, five persons have expressed their desire to participate in the competition for the position of a member of the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC). They include Natia Kuprashvili, Beglar Logua, Nino Kubinidze, Zakaria Kutsnashvili and Khatuna Maisashvili.
According to the press release of the administration, one of the members of the Georgian National Communications Commission (GNCC) was dismissed on October 29, 2019 by the resolution N5205-I of the Parliament of Georgia. According to Article 9, Paragraph 5 of the Law of Georgia, the Government of Georgia must announce an open competition within 10 days of the termination of office term of Commission member.
According to the Decree # 2312 of the Government of Georgia, dated November 7, 2019, an open competition has been announced from November 7, 2019, for the vacant position of a member of the Georgian National Communications Commission.
