“Zarapkhana” began 2026 with expansion and opened its fifth branch on March 1, located in “City Mall Saburtalo.”
As the company’s CEO, Tornike Samkharadze, told BMG, the plans for this year include adding another store and investing in a new production line.
“A pleasant update is that we opened an additional branch in City Mall. The investment amounts to around 60,000 GEL, and three new employees have been hired.
This year, we are also considering opening another branch in the regions. Market research is currently underway, as we are evaluating two cities: Kutaisi and Batumi. We already have a branch in Batumi, but we are considering adding another.
Another piece of news is that this year, we plan to invest over 400,000 GEL in production and launch an entirely new production line, which will increase our capacity. I can’t give more details yet, but I can say that it will be something new for the Georgian market. Negotiations are nearly complete, and we will likely launch it by August–September. We will need about four or five additional employees for the new production line,” said Tornike Samkharadze.
Jewelry company “Zarapkhana,” with 86 years of history, currently has four branches in Tbilisi and one in Batumi. The company employs 100 people.
