Zugdidi will have a shopping mall. Cushman & Wakefield, Georgia, is working on the first complex built according to the international standards in the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.
According to them, the construction process will start this month and be completed by the end of 2021. The total investment of the project is 6 million USD. The total area of the multifunctional shopping center is 15,000 square meters. According to the company, the shopping center will employ locals, which will contribute to the region's economic development.
"Cushman & Wakefield has been recently assigned to manage the leasing campaign of the first modern shopping center in Zugdidi.
The project is set to introduce the first contemporary, full-service shopping center in Zugdidi, combining fashion retail, hypermarket, F&B units, and other stores under one roof. Negotiations are currently underway with major brand operators with an established presence in the Georgian market.
