Under the Film in Georgia project, the country will be visited by a Chinese film production group and in June production of a Chinese TV series will start.
According to David Vashadze, Head of International Relations Department of Georgian National Film Center, for the last two years, the biggest interest towards the Film in Georgia Project has been shown by India – Bollywood and South India, however, European and Georgian-American project have also been produced within the framework of the project.
Recently, China also showed interest production of first Chinese TV series in Georgia will start soon.
In 2016, the film industry promotion project Film in Georgia started in Georgia, within the framework of which project, European and Asian film producers implemented several projects in our country.
Under the project, 15 applications have been submitted, of which shooting of 9 has been completed, while 6 of them are in progress.
